Dr. Shahina Akter, PSO, BCSIR Dhaka Laboratories, has been appointed as a member of the Communications Committee of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). This is the first time someone from Bangladesh has achieved this honor. Dr. Akter's term will begin on July 1, 2024.
